Co-teachers must be native speakers of the target language, Spanish or Mandarin, and have at least intermediate levels of written and verbal proficiency in English. You must have completed a degree equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree, which includes teacher preparation programs. Like all ambassador teachers, co-teachers must have valid driver’s licenses before arrival in the U.S. and cannot be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
